So, am 27ten und 28ten Oktober 2008 ist wieder Diwali! Diwali ist das “Festival of Lights” und wird zumindest für den Süden von Indien schon am 27ten gefeiert wobei im Norden des riesigen Landes erst am 28ten Diwali begangen wird. Diwali startet im Süden von Indien bereits am Morgen des 27ten, im Norden wird erst am Nachmittag des 28ten gefeiert, wobei auch in Nordindien der 27te zu Diwali gehört jedoch als “kleines Diwali” nicht wirklich aktiv begangen wird.

Für jeden der Diwali noch nicht einzuordnen weiß gibt es mehr Infos bei Wikipedia … oder auch bei meinem Diwali Post vom letztem Jahr.

Also .. happy diwali und auf ein Fest voller Lichter. Für mich heißt das im Grunde, doppelt weihnachten .. erst Diwali und dann X-Mas.
